London Marathon post race reception volunteers
Assist with our first ever post race reception after the London Marathon, at the Strand Palace Hotel.

Key activities
We would like support in the following roles -
Helping guide our weary and triumphant runners to the reception at the Strand Hotel, 10 minutes away.
Meeting and greeting the runners as they reach the reception venue.
Booking the runners in for showers.
Managing the ticket system for luggage.
Setting up the RSPCA event stand.
Raising awareness of the RSPCA.
Times & preferred duration of commitment
There are two shifts available & you can volunteer for more than one shift.
Shift 1 10:30am to 2pm
Shift 2 2pm to 5.30pm
Experience / skills / knowledge / personal qualities required
Enthusiastic and personable. Would suit someone who perhaps wants to get involved in a large fundraising event and support a national charity.
Training provided
There will be a briefing and you will have support from our staff during the day of the event.
Expenses
Some expenses may be claimed if agreed in advance, in accordance with the volunteer expenses policy.
