Rabbit Fosterers

To provide a temporary home for rabbits in need of foster care whilst we find them a forever home.

Location

We need people In and around the Surrey Epsom District branch area. Ideally you will be in travelling distance of the vets used by the branch (Ashtead, Ewell, Banstead, Bookham, Chessington, Leatherhead).

Key activities

If you love rabbits and have had some experience in handling and looking after them and would like to foster them whilst we are looking for their forever home, we would love to hear from you. We will provide a hutch and other supplies you will need whilst they are in your care. As a fosterer you will be responsible for the day to day care of the rabbits. Ideally you will be happy to talk to potential adopters about the rabbits in your care.

Times & preferred duration of commitment

Dependant on the rabbits in your care. A minimum commitment of 3 months is preferred.

Experience / skills / knowledge / personal qualities required

Experience of handling rabbits.

Expenses

Expenses can be claimed. Food, bedding etc will be provided or you can purchase this and claim back. The branch will meet all vets bills.
