Fosterer for dogs and/or cats
To foster animals temporarily before they can be rehomed for various reasons.

Key activities
To provide care in a safe environment for pets while they are in foster care in accordance with Society policies and guidelines.
To feed, water and groom pets as appropriate.
Giving of medications may be required (training provided). May also need to bring animals to the centre or take to vets on a weekly basis if undergoing treatment.
Times & preferred duration of commitment
Flexible. Depends on the animal/s in care.
Experience / skills / knowledge / personal qualities required
Previous experience of pet ownership would be beneficial. You will need a separate room to keep the cats in and your family must be fully supportive. If you have existing animals they must be spayed/neutered unless there are medical reasons why they can't be. If you are fostering dogs you will need a secure garden and plenty of time to spend with them.

Training will be provided.
