Gardening and Maintenance Volunteer
To perform basic maintenance of buildings, grounds, equipment and other small jobs that may be required from time to time.

Woodchurch Animal Centre, Birchington, Kent.
Key activities
Routine maintenance such as painting and small amounts of carpentry. To ensure gullies, drains etc are kept free of debris and that the grounds are litter free. Small amounts of plumbing, unblocking sinks and waste pipes. To build and repair animal accommodation to RSPCA standards. To comply with the requirements of health and safety. To report any faults to the Centre Manager.
Times & preferred duration of commitment
Minimum of 4 hours a week would be preferably but can be flexible.
Experience / skills / knowledge / personal qualities required
Experience in a workplace or domestic home maintenance. Needs to have a genuine interest in DIY.
Training provided
Health and safety training will be provided along with full training on all motorised machinery.
