To support Education Manager in delivering lesson plans to small groups of school groups.

Key activities
General support of education manager that includes:
Supporting Manager and more experienced volunteers in leading school groups, as a classroom assistant
Developing lesson plans and materials for visiting groups with Manager and other volunteers.
Helping to maintain education room and garden (maintenance and gardening)
Cleaning up after school visits
Times & preferred duration of commitment
Support needed during week days
Longer volunteer placements preferred so that we build up skills and experience of individuals
Experience / skills / knowledge / personal qualities required
Previous experience of working in a school environment important but not necessary. Enthusiasm and reliability essential.
