Key activities

To prepare and provide food and water for the cats in the cattery. To clean, disinfect and maintain to a standard of cleanliness cats pods in the cattery as required. Attend to the socialisation, exercise and coat care/grooming needs of the cats. Follow health and safety procedures as laid down by the Centre and ensure that they are observed in all aspects of work. Liaise with colleagues in the Centre, branch staff and other volunteer helpers.

Times & preferred duration of commitment

Minimum of 3 hours a week would be preferably but can be flexible

Experience / skills / knowledge / personal qualities required

No qualifications needed as training will be provided although someone who owns or works with cats would be a bonus.
