To fundraise in supermarkets and similar outlets for the local branch.

Key activities
Gaining permission from the supermarket
arranging equipment (tins, badges, sashes, etc) drawing up rotas
arranging for collection of cash and counting
thanking people who have collected
taking cash to collection point/bank
Times & preferred duration of commitment
Ongoing - weekends for actual collections but organising can be done at a time to suit you. Depending on the number of collections - a few hours per month. The minimum duration of commitment is 12 months
Experience / skills / knowledge / personal qualities required
No experience necessary. We will make sure you are aware of guidelines and have some identification. If you have fundraising/marketing skills these will be invaluable in this role. We will ask you to provide references.
