Key activities
The branch wishes to be more active in the following areas:
Assistance with neutering and veterinary treatment of animals.
Rehoming of unwanted animals often in conjunction with the local Inspectors.
Promoting responsible pet ownership such as micro-chipping.
Fundraising to facilitate all of the above.
Times & preferred duration of commitment
Monthly committee meetings and then animal welfare activities in between meetings as time allows. On any day, meetings are held monthly and in the evening.
Experience / skills / knowledge / personal qualities required
For general committee work all we need is a love of animals and a willingness to get involved.
Training provided
Informal advice and support from the Branches development adviser.
