Key activities
The branch wishes to be more active in the following areas:
assistance with neutering and veterinary treatment of animals.
rehoming of unwanted animals often in conjunction with the local Inspectors.
promoting responsible pet ownership such as micro-chipping.
fundraising to facilitate all of the above.
Times & preferred duration of commitment
Monthly committee meeting and then animal welfare activities in between meetings as time allows. On any day, meetings are held monthly and are in the evening.
Experience / skills / knowledge / personal qualities required
For general committee work all we need is a love of animals and a willingness to get involved.
Training provided
Informal advice and support from the Branches development adviser.
