Key activities
Visiting the homes of people wanting to rehome an animal or those who have already adopted an animal from us, to assess whether the home is suitable for the animal or to assess how the animal has settled in. Ensuring that any potential owners are fully aware of the responsibilities of animal ownership - welfare / finances etc.
Times & preferred duration of commitment
Any day, around 1 hour average per week for a minimum of 3 months.
Experience / skills / knowledge / personal qualities required
Ability to deal with general public. Reliability/commitment and
experience of owning pets.
Training provided
One day training course provided, with ongoing support from Branch administrator.
Expenses
None paid, unless pre-agreed for exceptional travel.
