Key activities

There are many areas where fundraising help is needed, here's a list of just some of them:

To co-ordinate and/or run a stall at RSPCA events
To co-ordinate and/or take part in sponsored activities within the Branch
To fundraise in supermarkets by collecting money and animal food donations especially within RSPCA Week. To co-ordinate or take part in helping to set up or take part in events such as a quiz or fair

Times & preferred duration of commitment

This is very flexible/ongoing and according to how much time the volunteer wants to give, from 2 hours collecting to a day helping at an event. The majority of events do take place on Saturdays or Sundays. The volunteer can be involved as little or as long as they wish to.

Experience / skills / knowledge / personal qualities required

No experience is necessary. Becoming a fundraising volunteer is a great way to develop your existing skills and learn new ones, meet people and have fun. People with previous fundraising/event running experience would be very welcome!

Training provided

Dependent upon curent skills/experience and the area the volunteer wishes to help with.
