Key activities

Trustees have responsibility for controlling the management and running of the branch with a view to promoting animal welfare services within the branch area.

Times & preferred duration of commitment

Anytime. Monthly committee meetings and then animal welfare activities in between meetings as time allows. Trustees are elected for a 12 month term at each AGM.

Experience / skills / knowledge / personal qualities required

To be a branch trustee you will need to be committed to the RSPCA's objectives. You will need to be able to work with people and have good interpersonal skills. You do not need to be an expert although commitment, common sense and the ability to be impartial is vital.
