Home visitor
To undertake home visits for the Scarborough branch primarily but also for other branches wishing to rehome in the Scarborough area. To feed back information on potential adopters to the rehoming co-ordinators.

Key activities
Visiting potential adopters homes, gathering as much information as needed to enable the rehoming co-ordinators to make an assessment as to whether the potential adopter is a suitable home for the associated animal.
Times & preferred duration of commitment
Visits can be made any day but mostly evenings.
We would need the volunteer to make at least one home visit per week.
Experience / skills / knowledge / personal qualities required
Must have assess to own vehicle and be willing to volunteer during unsociable hours (eg evenings). Good listener, non judgemental, good advocate of the RSPCA. All round people person.
Training provided
All branch Home Visitors are asked to attend an RSPCA Home Visitor training session. The first few visits will be alongside a trained, experienced home visitor to give trainee confidence.
