Local to the branch animal centre in Wade Street, Halifax, HX1 1SN.
Key activities
The types of animals fostered vary greatly but generally foster homes are needed for: pregnant and nursing animals, young kittens/puppies, convalescent e.g. recuperating from illness/injury, elderly, animals that require assessment/training or socialisation. Suitable animals will be placed after a home visit has been carried out and all food, medication and equipment is provided.

6 months - variable - any day
Experience / skills / knowledge / personal qualities required
Experience and knowledge of animal care desirable
Training provided
Training and guidance provided throughout.
