Socks is a lovely young lad who was brought into the centre through no fault of his own. He was taken off his owner due to an inspector investigation into his welfare as he was very underweight on entry. We believe socks is a collie x lurcher as he is very much like both breeds. He is both very intelligent and very energetic. Socks still behaves like a typical puppy and has started to undergo positive reinforcement training here at the centre. This will need to be continued in the home. At the moment Socks will sit for his food, walk nicely on lead and recall. As Socks is such an intelligent lad it doesnt take him long to learn new behaviours. Socks would benefit from an experienced coliie owner and who is home for the majority of the day. . He can be rehomed with children age 13 . This is due to him having a tendancy to jump up. Socks will be best suited as an only dog, but he can be rehomed with cats if calm and used to living with dogs. A lovely lad.
