Max is another stray signed into our care by the local authority. He spent about a year in and out of stray kennels without managing to find that special forever home. Knowing he has had many homes in his short life and wanting to try and find Max the stability that he so desperately needs in life we decided to see if he could make it as a working dog for the Police. Unfortunately after months of preparation he didn’t quite make the grade. The officer overseeing him said he was too gentle. Bless him! We are now looking for a home that will commit to Max forever. As a result of his varied ownership he can be boisterous at times and may take some time to settle into his new home. With love and commitment to training him, Max can become a real little star, he has so much potential. He is good with dogs, can live with secondary school age children and could possibly live with a confident cat. Please visit the centre if you would like to meet him.
