Hi, my name is Lucy. I'm a Staffordshire Bull Terrier with a lovely shiny black and white coat. I came to West Hatch nearly a year ago after I was found living in a small yard with over 50 dogs. A lot of the dogs were males and much bigger than me and so I had a difficult time standing up for myself. It was a relief to come here where I have my own kennel and regular walks. Most of the dogs that were rescued with me have found new homes but I seem to have been overlooked and I don't understand why. All of the staff are very fond of me and I even got to go home with one. This was a huge adventure and I was just so excited exploring a real home. I got a bit scared at night however and 'persuaded' the staff member to let me curl up on his bed. I think he's a soft touch! Apparently I was a really good, affectionate little dog who has just never had a chance to find a kind experienced owner of my own. Due to my past, I am not very tolerant of other dogs so would be happiest as an only pet. If you think you could be that owner then please get in touch. Love Lucy xx <
