Daisy has been in kennels since October 2012 so would really like a settee to call home.
Daisy is an active dog who loves her walks and playing with toys. She does respond to some basic commands though a little more training wouldn’t go amiss.
Daisy is housetrained and she travels well. She is a bit unsure when meeting other dogs for the first time though, with careful introduction, may be suitable to live with another dog. We would advise against rehoming her with resident cats.
We don’t know how she is with children but she has done nothing which would make us think she wouldn’t be suitable to live with children.
Daisy loves spending time in our ‘living room’ at the kennels – playing with her toys and jumping up on the settee for a tummy rub.
Daisy is taken out regularly by volunteers and whilst initially she was whining in the car, this is what they had to say the second time:-
'She was much better travelling today. Was great on the walk. She met a few dogs along the way, had a growl at one that was sniffing but didn't seem aggressive when they were approaching from in front of her and was happy to walk past if they just passed by.
No problems on roadside with heavy traffic, cyclists, horses etc, good as gold.
We took her into a dog friendly pub, but she was very very giddy! Just wanting to say hello to everyone because she loves people! so we cut that short and went outside as she wouldn't settle. But the more we do it the more she will ... she was just excited.
Remember – don’t judge a book by its cover! Daisy has just gone into foster so we will have some more info shortly.
