Blitz was handed over to one of our Inspectors after the owner found they couldn¿t cope with the cost of feeding their six dogs. Blitz was underweight and had sore skin at the time, but with a little TLC at our animal hospital she is now in great condition and looking for her new home. She has shown herself to have a lovely temperament and although may have initial timidness when she very first meets you she puts her trust in you very quickly and forms bonds easily. She obviously has lived with other dogs and could do again so long as they are of a calm nature like herself. Blitz has had some training and knows the basics, she is capable of learning much more if her new owners wished her to. Blitz is a pleasure to walk on the lead and enjoys her walkies. We feel this affectionate girl will suit most homes and can live with calm children aged 8 yrs and over

- 2The branch or animal centre will give you information on adopting an animal, including the cost, and can help you fill out the right forms.
- 3Following an assessment to match you with the right pet, you can meet the animals and reserve the animal you like.
- 4A home visit will then be carried out to check your home is suitable for the pet you have chosen
- 5When all the paperwork and checks are complete - you can take your new pet home!
- 6A follow-up visit is usually carried out to make sure that you, your family and your new pet are all happy.
