Amber came into our care in February because her owner could no longer keep her. She was very confused and upset when she arrived, she didn't have a clue what was going on. Amber had been in the same home for 7 years and through no fault of her own found herself in our cattery looking for a new home. When she arrived she was quite frustrated and could on occassions take it out on us but she has now settled in and realised that we are here to help her and place her into a new family home. She is an independent girl who knows what she wants out of life. She spends most of her day in bed and will only venture outside to use the toilet. She doesn't like other cats so will need a home as the only pet. Amber enjoys being groomed purring non-stop just to show you how much she loves it.She prefers to keep all four feet on the ground and struggles to get back down if you try to pick her up. We think Amber will suit a mature family home with teenage children or older who understand that she likes her own space.
