Lockwood Centre For Horses & Donkeys
About us
Lockwood Centre for Horses and Donkeys provides a peaceful home and rehabilitation centre for around 20 donkeys on a 35-acre site.
It was established by John and Kay Lockwood and is one of the UK’s oldest donkey centres moving to its current site in the mid 1960s.
The RSPCA has run the centre since 2006 and it is now a specialist equine centre, providing a sanctuary for donkeys and rescuing and rehoming horses and ponies that have been badly treated.
