Bryn-y-Maen Animal Centre

How you can help us

It costs the RSPCA over £1,300 a day to run Bryn-y-Maen Animal Centre. We rely entirely on kind donations from people like you.

They are many ways you can help us. Please take a minute to read through all the different and fun ways you can be part of helping the animals in our care.

Raising funds for us

Would you like to help raise funds for the many animals in our care? Why don’t you sign up for a sky dive, cycling challenge or marathon? Find out more on our fundraising pages.

Support our work

Many animals that come into our care are in very bad conditions and rehabilitating and caring for these animals costs a lot of money.

Like Molly and her friend Max. Both were in appealing conditions when arriving in our care and it took several months and costly veterinary procedures to help them overcome their ordeal.

Molly was 10 years old when she arrived and could not produce any tears and as such was having eye medications numerous times a day. Staff and volunteers ran a public appeal and raised the £1,000 Molly needed to fix the tear ducts to enable to keep her eyes moist. After a period in a foster home while she was recovering, she was ready for rehoming and found a wonderful new family to call her own.

Molly and her new owners have been to visit us recently at the ripe old age of 15! She still loves playing football and is a joy to her family.

Molly’s friend Max had a blockage in his saliva gland and our local branch was kind enough to pay the £700 vet bill to have this surgically repaired. Max was such a brave boy and now lives the good life with his new family.

We couldn’t do our work without your generous support. If you would like to fund our work, please visit our donation pages. Thank you.
