Bryn-y-Maen Animal Centre
About us
Our Bryn-y-Maen Animal Centre is situated in the countryside with lovely sea views and surrounded by open fields and woodland, which provide a wonderful location for the rehabilitation and physical enjoyment of the animals.
The centre has 35 kennels, 36 cat pens, 18 rabbit pods and 4 ferret pods, as well as room for small animals, farm animals and wildlife.
The centre provide specialist care for domestic and farm animals, and although not being a dedicated wildlife centre, staff at Bryn-y-Maen often look after injured wildlife before release or transfer to one of our four dedicated wildlife centres.
Caring for such a vast varity of animals means that staff have to be well trained as they never know if a tiny mice or a big wet seal will be the next visitor through the door.
Shopping at Bryn-y-Maen
Our shop is located on site and is run by our dedicated Friends of Bryn-y-Maen volunteer group. The shop sells everything people need when adopting an animal from us or already have a furry friend in their care.
We have very competitive prices and take card payments! As we are working closely with many suppliers we can also order supplies on request.
Our shop is a valuable source of income to our centre, so please pop by and have a look around.
