A limited number of study visits can be organised each year, incorporating trips to our animal centres, work-shadowing experience with inspectors and meetings with staff at our headquarters.

An extensive database of animal welfare organisations overseas can be found on www.worldanimal.net. Concerns with specific animal welfare issues or cases of cruelty in a particular country should be addressed to a local organisation and to the country's embassy in the UK. The RSPCA has no jurisdiction outside of England and Wales.

Our publication International News is specifically geared towards the needs and interests of overseas organisations and we encourage active participation by asking for feedback, organisational profiles and feature articles from local groups.

We had some great responses to our recent stray control issue. Dorothea Friz, DVM from Lega Pro Animale in Italy sent in her thoughts and the results of a population survey they recently conducted: Rocca Devandro dog population survey results (PDF 59 KB) . Sandra Osborne from KAPSA (Kalkan association for the protection of street animals-Kalkan sokak hayvanlarini koruma dernegi) also wrote to us. Read their letters in the Spring/Summer 2011 issue of International News. Please write to us with your thoughts on the latest issue of the newsletter: International@rspca.org.uk
