CAWF Innovator Award Winners 2011
The Innovator in Animal Welfare Award is the most prestigious accolade of the scheme celebrating local authorities, housing providers, and related groups and fora who have demonstrated an approach to animal welfare generally, or a particular issue that is innovative, shows good partnership working and provides a model of good practice that others may seek to follow.
The quality of entries was excellent, after much discussion the judging panel made their decisions and below are listed the Innovator winners and the runners-up for 2011:
English District and Borough Innovator winner: Eastleigh Borough Council
Wales Unitary Innovator winner: Newport Council
Housing and multi-agency winner: Affinity Sutton Housing
English Unitary Innovator winner: Middlesbrough Council
English County Innovator winner: Lincolnshire County Council
Runners-up: Eden District Council, Oldham Council, North Norfolk District Council, Sanctaury Care, Somerset County Council, Staffordshire County Council, Wandsworth Borough Council
