Maintenance Worker – full-time
Location: West Hatch, Taunton, Somerset
Salary: £13,634
Closing date: 29 March 2013
Hours: 35 hours per week from 8.00am to 4.00pm
The RSPCA is looking for a full-time maintenance worker to join the team at West Hatch.
Responsibilities include:
• All aspects of care and maintenance of the buildings and surrounding grounds of the Wildlife Centre and Animal Centre.
• The maintenance of associated equipment and plant as directed.
• Undertaking routine minor maintenance tasks also liaising with outside contractors on more significant maintenance requirements.
Skills and experience:
• Proven experience in a maintenance role.
• Proficient in the use of hand and power tools.
• Sound communication skills and a flexible approach to work duties.
• Able to organise and prioritise own workload.
• Excellent administrative and organisational skills.
• Possess a current Full driving licence.
