Location: Near Horsham, West Sussex
Salary: £29,794 - £31,584 per annum
The RSPCA is the largest animal welfare charity in England and Wales, currently employing over 1,600 people and with more than 166 branches. Its mission is to prevent cruelty, promote kindness and alleviate suffering of all animals, nationally and internationally. The Society funds its annual running costs, currently in excess of £100m, almost exclusively by voluntary donations and legacies.
The role:
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic individual to devise and implement a programme of challenge events and supporter generated fundraising events. The post holder will also take responsibility for the RSPCA’s engagement strategy and provide advice, resources and training in community event fundraising to the Society’s branches and National Society animal centres.
You will need:
• Experience of working in challenge and activity event promotions.
• Knowledge of a wide range of community fundraising techniques.
• Proven track record of planning and managing profitable fundraising events.
• Ability to present and deliver workshops.
• Experience of working with figures and spreadsheets.
• Substantial working experience in Excel, Word and Powerpoint
