How would your gift be used?

We work in many different areas to help many thousands of animals in need every year. The RSPCA only exists because of public donations, and over half of our annual income is received through gifts left to us in Wills.

Here are some key areas of our work which will always depend on legacy gifts:

Our inspectors investigate over 100,000 complaints of animal cruelty a year.

Every 27 seconds, someone dials our 24-hour Cruelty and Advice Line for help.

Our Special Operations Unit gathers the evidence needed to prosecute people for crimes such as organised dog-fighting, badger-baiting and puppy farming.

Our campaigns team works tirelessly to improve the way all animals are treated, including farm animals kept in cruel conditions

We rehome over 60,000 animals each year, from large horses to tiny mice.

Our Animal Centres, hospitals, clinics and branches treat more than 200,000 animals a year and we look after many more until we can find them a new home.

Our education work is encouraging the next generation to treat animals with respect. We provide free National Curriculum resources for teachers,  a website, and a team of Education, Training and Development Advisers.

We also work in areas such as scientific research and international animal welfare.

Please help us to continue this vital work well into the future, and build a better world for all animals, by considering leaving a gift in your will.
