Vivid Imaginations
For many years Vivid Imaginations has produced a range of toys under the Animal Hospital brand. This lucrative licence has meant the RSPCA have benefited from royalty payments in excess of £1million!
The Animal Hospital programme hosted by Rolf Harris, was filmed at RSPCA Harmsworth Hospital. The programme, shown on the BBC for many years and enjoyed by thousands, highlighted the stories of many sick and injured animals.
The Animal Hospital range of toys has been an evergreen brand within the Vivid Imaginations portfolio for over 12 years and has continued to perform year after year. It provides great innovative and exciting toys for a classic girl play pattern of caring and nurturing. Girls love being able to rescue and care for injured animals whatever the problem. Over the years the brand has seen and cared for every kind of animal from Dogs & Cats all the way through to Lions, Elephants, Penguins and now even Kangaroos & Koalas. The brand has continued to grow and stay current with the children of today and the growing pressure’s that today’s market brings. The current product range is set in the Australian outback and features very modern and contemporary looking Vets and vehicles. We have always worked closely with the RSPCA to ensure that we are always being true to the essence of the charity and that we have always managed to achieve a lifelike realism within the product offering.
The contribution Vivid Imaginations has made to the RSPCA is testament to how successful a licence with the RSPCA can be. The toys' popularity remains, even after the programme has long since disappeared from our TV screens.
