CJ Wildlife

CJ Wildlife is committed to the conservation and preservation of the UK’s birds and other wildlife and supports research into many of the country’s rare and declining bird species.

Established in 1987 by Chris Whittles, a lifelong ornithologist and wildlife enthusiast, CJ Wildlife has grown rapidly and is now a world leader in the research, design, development and supply of wild bird and wildlife food and feeding products. Their mission is to help wildlife to survive and thrive.

CJ’s have been proudly supporting RSPCA for four years. CJ Wildlife Chairman and Founder Chris Whittles says of the relationship:

RSPCA are a natural partner for CJ’s – we share many common goals in relation to the care of wildlife and we are proud of our association with them

CJ’s pay a minimum of £100,000 a year to RSPCA Trading Ltd and have done since 2005. In addition to this sum the company also collects, via their mail order supporter base, donations which it passes to the charity. To date these have accumulated to over £10,000. They regularly feature interesting wildlife-based articles from the RSPCA in their catalogues and newsletters as they seek to spread the word about the charity’s good work.

The association has grown over the years and continues to do so. The partnership’s success could be attributed to the common aims of both, to support Britain’s wildlife. This provides a natural synergy and has led to collaborations on Wildlife issues that have benefited both partners.  CJ’s are especially keen to forge stronger links with the 4 RSPCA wildlife hospitals where wild bird and wildlife care is most keenly practised.
