UK short challenges
There are many UK challenges available, you can search any of the three events companies we work with Discover Adventure, Skyline Events and Different Travel, belong we have outlined some examples, with Discover Adventure.
UK Trekathons
Trekathons are one-day events over a marathon distance of approximately 26 miles. The days are fully marshaled by experienced staff throughout the day and it takes 8-9 hours for fit walkers. Registration fee: £49, fundraising target: £150.
South Downs Trekathon, East Sussex

We trek in Britain’s newest National Park from Lewes along the South Downs to Beachy Head. To book.
Hadrian’s Wall, Northumberland
Saturday, 23 June 2012. Starting in Carlisle, we trek along the wall all the way to Houseteads. To book.
Avebury to Stonehenge, Wiltshire
Saturday, 30 June 2012. We start in Avebury and head to the ancient landmark of Silbury Hill long to the prehistoric stone circle of Stonehenge. To book.
Cheddar to Glasonbury, Somerset
Saturday, 28 July 2012. From Cheddar village loop up through Mendip hills finishing at Glastonbury Tor. To book.
London Stadia Trekathon
Saturday, 1 September 2012. Olympic themed Trekathon takes in many of the Olympic Stadia. To book.
Spire 2 Spire, Hants and Wiltshire
Saturday, 8 September 2012. From Winchester’s historic Cathedral to the 13th Century Salisbury Cathedral, walking the Clarendon Way. To book.
Jurassic Coast weekend
The landscapes on this trek are breathtaking. Starting at Durlston Head heading west along the South West Coastal path, trekking 23 miles over the weekend. The steep climbs and descents are demanding and challenging! To book. Fundraising option: Registration fee: £49. Fundraising target: £550. Self payment option: Registration fee: £49. Trip cost: £220.
