Rabbit Awareness Week (RAW
) is an annual week of events run by participating vets, retailers and rescue centres, that aims to raise awareness of the welfare needs of pet rabbits.

Rabbit Awareness Week 2013 starts on 4 May and this year’s hot topic is diet.

Events will be happening throughout May to mark the occasion including free veterinary health checks and educational activities.

Who is involved in RAW?

RAW is organised by Burgess Pet Care and the RSPCA is one of the official supporting partners. The other official partners of RAW include the PDSA, The Blue Cross, Wood Green Animal Charity, Rabbit Welfare Association and Fund (RWAF), Burgess Excel,  Panacur Rabbit, Bayer Animal Health and Practice Plan for Vets.
