Recipes for Autumn

As Autumn fast approaches we look forward to cosy nights in with delicious food.  With so many seasonal goodies to choose from we can’t wait to try more recipes from  our celebrity recipe collections. As nights draw in faster and the smell of bonfires and  mulled cider are on the way we are already contemplating autumnal dishes featured
here – yummy!

As we have discovered you don’t need to spend a fortune on expensive cuts of meat to enjoy a freedom food meal – why not start things off with Anthony Worrall Thompson’s Use-up-lamb supper or Huw Davies’ Lamb braised with dill and white wine sauce. Enjoy something seasonal with Ian Green at Rotunda’s Roast Chicken, pearl barley risotto,
english marrow and mushroom cream sauce. And there are plenty more to choose from as the season continues.

Don’t forget to celebrate the best of autumn’s seasonal vegetables alongside your dishes – the best includes courgettes, runner beans, sweetcorn, potatoes and cabbage. Finish with some sweet like tasty apple and blackberries.
