Freedom Food team available to you

One of the findings from the most recent membership research indicated that many member producers would like more contact with the Freedom Food team – and the chance to talk to them more, face-to-face.

That’s exactly why the team have made an increased effort and commitment to get out and about where members can be found - such as the Pig and Poultry Fair and Aquaculture UK conference, both attended back in May.

“But now, we want to do even more and would like to offer you the opportunity to have a representative from Freedom Food speak on a relevant topic at one of your forthcoming producer group meetings,” says Bob Waller, agricultural manager for the scheme.

“We hope this will prove to be a valuable addition to our ongoing efforts to be readily available to your contract farmers - to update them, offer advice and answer questions. This should provide valuable experience for everyone, including us, and help more producers understand how Freedom Food operates.

“To take advantage of this offer and make it easy to arrange, simply let us have details of the meeting - with at least two months notice please - and we will follow up the request and make the necessary arrangements.

“We’ll do our very best to accommodate your requests and dates but, of course, If we receive too many requests in the same month, we may have to take a first-come first-served approach, but we will be sure to rearrange as necessary. So don’t put it off, let us know when your forthcoming meetings are and how we can help!”
