Farm to Fork scoops 'Plough to Plate'
The recent Eastern Daily Press Norfolk Food & Drink Awards spelt success for Freedom Food pig producer Rob Mutimer and his Swannington Farm to Fork branded produce.
Rob’s win – one of many in recent years – this time in the prestigious ‘Plough to Plate’ category of the Awards shortlisted finalists with the ability and vision to produce and market quality produce in the region, with particular reference to costs, environmental impact and community contribution. Rob’s win is testimony to the hard work that all of his team put into their higher welfare farming.

Rob’s family have been rearing outdoor pigs since the 1970s. Today, his 600-sow herd of Landrace cross Duroc pigs are supplied to Waitrose, local restaurants and the family’s own farm shop, just a few miles from Norwich.
