The Freedom Food certification has an intrinsic commercial value to it. 

We believe that the license fee we charge is very competitive and reasonable in comparison to other such marks.  Freedom Food is a non-profit making organisation and as such 85% of the fee is returned to the end retailer of the product to promote the scheme and farm animal welfare, hopefully benefiting all involved.  The retained part of the fee is used for tracing logo products to ensure their integrity.
