Freedom Food farmers shortlisted for Farmers Weekly Awards
We are pleased to announce that Freedom Food members David Neal (Pigs), Nick and Claire Bragg (Chickens), Christine Young and Catherine Armstrong (Eggs) have been shortlisted for The Farmers Weekly Awards 2011. David has been nominated for Pig Farmer of the Year whilst couple Nick and Claire and sisters Christine and Catherine have both been nominated for Poultry Farmer of the Year.
These awards aim to showcase the best of British farmers and their teams who work hard to conduct the best possible practice within their farming specialism.
The awards recognise these achievements and highlight the positive effect this can have upon others to inspire improvements and change perception of farmers in the public eye.
The awards will be held on 6th October at Grosvenor House Hotel in London and we wish them the best of luck on the night!
