Fireworks - Fireworks Frighten Animals back to current campaigns

Every year more and more fireworks are being used to celebrate various occasions and events. Fireworks can cause a great deal of pain and anxiety to animals because their hearing is more sensitive than ours.

Our leaflet, poster and radio adverts are encouraging everyone to THINK before using fireworks as its not just pet animals that suffer. Others including farm animals and wildlife can also be frightened by the loud noises made by fireworks.

How you can help
  • Take a look at our tips on caring for your animals when fireworks are going off
  • Listen to our radio adverts
  • Download or order copies of our firework leaflet and poster
  • Take part in our online poll
  • Use lower noise fireworks
  • Try and attend an organised public display
Remember STOP and THINK - fireworks frighten animals!
