Finding pets good homes

This lesson introduces pupils to the concept of rehoming neglected or abandoned pets through a combination of speaking, listening, writing and role-play exercises.

Curriculum objectives

Pupils should learn:

  • about the responsibilities humans have towards animals
  • about voluntary/charitable organisations and why we need them
  • what the chosen organisation does in relation to the problem of neglected or abandoned pets.
