Are you a primary school teacher based in the North West?

Sign up now for this free training day for teachers and teaching assistants!

Our very own ETDAs Kate O'Regan and Neil Barnett will be running part of a one day training course at Osbaldeston Hall Farm on Thursday, 12 May 2011. Come and learn how you can use animal welfare education to inspire and instruct your pupils.

Aimed at those working with primary and early years children, on this free course you can:

  • Discover how the national curriculum ties in with teaching about farm animals
  • Learn from an award-winning dairy farm how to organise and run a successful farm visit
  • Join the animals in schools debate and find out how the Animal Welfare Act affects teachers
  • See the facilities on offer at Osbaldeston Hall Farm on a guided tour.

If you or your colleagues are interested in taking part, please download and complete the application form below and return to Katy Pallas asap.
