I run training sessions for trainee and qualified teachers, introducing them to ways of teaching animal welfare within the curriculum. I also contribute to the development of resources which are available on the RSPCA Education website.

I work across the East of England and the East Midlands.

What drew you to work within animal welfare?

If we all understand more about our interactions with animals, then I feel we are a step closer to taking responsibility for making things better.
 

What you like most about the job

Meeting and working with teachers at different stages of their careers and giving them greater confidence in tackling animal welfare topics.
