Has your dog got what it takes to be RSPCA Rescue Dog of the Year 2008?
We're looking for rescue dogs with star quality to enter this year's Rescue Dog of the Year competition.
The RSPCA Rescue Dog of the Year is the largest national show exclusively for cross-breed and pedigree dogs from all backgrounds, not just RSPCA centres - each with a story to tell of how they triumphed over adversity.
Dogs will need to have been adopted from a registered (RSPCA or non RSPCA) centre.
Heats are held at RSPCA branch dog shows throughout England and Wales, and the six regional winners are chosen by public voting on the RSPCA website in September.
These winners will then feature in the Sunday Express newspaper in October for readers to vote for the winner, who will be crowned RSPCA Rescue Dog of the Year 2008 and announced by the newspaper in November.
If you think your dog has what it takes, then come along to one of the regional RSPCA shows and enter your dog in the RSPCA Rescue Dog of the Year regional heats!
Click here, or on the link at the bottom of the page, to see where and when the heats are being held.
Meet Oliver, winner of RSPCA Rescue Dog of the Year 2007.
