Gift Aid enables us to make the very most of the donations we receive. For every £1 donated under the scheme, we can reclaim an extra 25p from the Inland Revenue - at no extra cost to the donor, but to the great benefit of the animals that rely on our life-saving work.

Charities can now reclaim the tax on any donations made in the last four years. All you need to do is complete a Gift Aid declaration, confirming that you are a UK taxpayer and wish the charity to reclaim the tax. Also confirming that you have paid enough Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax to cover the amount that all charities and CASCs you donate to will reclaim for that tax year.

Council tax and VAT does not count, the RSPCA will reclaim 25p of tax on every £1 that you have given.

It is not necessary to sign a new declaration for each donation - it remains effective until you tell us otherwise.
