Stapeley Grange is one of four RSPCA wildlife centres based in England that supports the rehabilitation of sick, injured, orphaned and confiscated wildlife.

We admit animals from south of the Scottish Border to south of Birmingham and across North Wales. Each year we deal with over 5,500 wildlife and domestic casualties.

Our facilities allow us to rescue, rehabilitate and release almost all species of wildlife (with the exception of seals and deer).

Here at Stapeley our wildlife team of 13 are supported heavily by volunteers and student placements. Together they provide the necessary veterinary and husbandry care for all our admissions.

The way in which we work with our wildlife casualties is based on years of experience, post release monitoring and research.

More than wildlife

Stapeley Grange also has a rehoming cattery that supports our inspectors with cats who have been injured, abandoned, neglected or become the victims of cruelty.

The centre also runs an education programme offering schools and the community an opportunity to learn about wildlife and the environment.
