Charlie is a pure white-coloured Staffordshire bull terrier who is approximately two years old and currently in the care of the RSPCA Martlesham Animal Centre in Woodbridge, Suffolk.
Charlie’s background
Charlie came into the care of the centre in July 2009 with a female dog and their litter of puppies. The puppies and female dog have found new homes but Charlie has not been so lucky.
Charlie's character
Charlie is a fantastic, affectionate dog who loves people, cuddles and playing with a tennis ball.
He is calm, well-behaved and walks well on a lead and harness.
Charlie just doesn’t get the chance to show people his lovely nature and character!
Staff at the centre believe that Charlie keeps being overlooked by potential new owners in favour of darker coloured dogs or those with markings.
Furthermore Staffies are lovely dogs but people sometimes have fixed ideas about them. If they can just see past the undeserved reputation they have gained, they would find fantastic pets who really deserve a second chance at life in a loving home.
Charlie’s ideal home
Charlie is looking for a family with children over the age of eight. After being in the kennels for such a long time he is looking for a home where he will get lots of attention and love.
He can live with another female dog but can not be rehomed with cats.
He would make a wonderful family pet or companion and just needs to be given the chance.

Think first...
Please remember that pet ownership takes time, money, commitment and patience - owning a pet is likely to change your life completely. If you find an animal you want to offer a home to at an RSPCA centre, the centre's staff will need to make sure the animal is suitable for your circumstances. This process will include a home visit.
